Mark Buselli

About Mark

Mark is currently on faculty at Butler University in Indianapolis. He was the 2001 director of the Indiana All State Jazz ensemble and is a clinician for the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation and United Musical Instruments. Affiliations include BMI, IAJE, and NARAS. His recordings as a leader include

He has also recorded with Dominic Spera, US Air big band, Amy Stephens, Michael Brown, Eddie Henderson, Jeff Foxworthy, Cynthia Layne, Janiece Jaffee, Bob and Tom, and Carrie Newcomer.

Mark has worked with the Artie Shaw band, the Benny Goodman tribute band, Natalie Cole, Jerry Lewis, Vic Damone, Al Martino, Jack Jones, Shirley Jones, Sandi Patti, Ben Vereen to Makoto Ozone, Phil Wilson, David Baker, Herb Pomeroy, Slam Stewart, and Dominic Spera.

Mr. Buselli's jazz ensemble arrangements are published by Really Good Music.com, FJH., and Increase music. He is co-founder and co-director of the Buselli/Wallarab Jazz Orchestra (www.bwjo.org), the Mid Coast Swing Orchestra, and a member of the jazz sextet Deep Six.

Mr. Buselli graduated from Berklee College of Music in Performance and Arranging and Indiana University with MM in Jazz Studies. He resides in Indianapolis with his wife Andrea and daughter Sophia.
