My name is Lafayette Williams of Silver Spring, Maryland. I've played music some 30 years and after raising my children and kicked them out, I have the place just about to myself. It's a lot easier to concentrate on the music.
I've opened for Carlo Santana, The Doobies, Heat Wave, The Floaters, and played in such notable groups as Chocolate Rain, and Birds of Flight. I did a stint with the Harper Brothers, and I'm currently tranposing my bass parts to MIDI as the tune below reflects.
I play fretless electric bass and sing. I have been woodshedding a while now and would like to get myself exposed to the music world as a composer. It's much easier to accomplish this when the environment is right. You may hold that key! I appreciate any suggestions!
