Astrin Few
Here is a sampling of some stuff I record as Astrin Few in Second Life. There isn't really any difference between what I perform in Second Life and real life, but some of the tunes linked here were recorded in live shows in Second Life, so they belong here.
My Tango (6.2 MB) is a tango that I wrote around 1992 or so. I love the synth French accordian on this. This recording was done in December 2005 for the Second Life Help Radio stream.
The Look of Love (7.4 MB) is one of my favorite Bacharach tunes.
How Can I Miss You (When You Won't Go Away)?" (3.3 MB) is a funny Dan Hicks country swing number that I've always loved. I recorded this for Joe Montagne, who hosted an anti-Valentines party at the Elbow Room.
Use Me Up (9.4 MB) is a stretched-out version of the Bill Withers tune that I played at a Sunday night show in Second Life. It's an example of a tune I do on electric with backing tracks.
A lot of my best stuff in Second Life was recorded with Flaming Moe (Brian Tervo). Here are a number of tunes that we recorded at various shows:
Alone Together Concert, February 13, 2005
This concert was "relaycast": I streamed my guitar to Moe, who added his sax and streamed the mix out on another port to the concert in
Second Life, in the Clyde sim. This is the first case of a public concert being done this way that we know of.
Miami Friday - January 13, 2006
After I arrived in the evening of Friday, January 13, 2006, Moe and I picked up some beer and proceeded to hook up our gear for a test run of
streaming from Moe's apartment. The following tracks were streamcast into a party in SL, and Nethermind Bliss ripped the stream with the following
tracks as the result.

This is the duo concert that we performed before a large audience (110 listeners over two hours) at Clovers Auditorium.
It was performed in RL in Moe's apartment in Miami.
